Our Story
Our Timeline

I
The Beginning
The idea for our business began with a simple observation. In the Canadian market, mid-century furniture was either beautifully designed but prohibitively expensive, or affordable yet compromised in materials and construction.
What felt missing was a middle ground. A furniture company focused on offering a refined collection of high quality mid century designs, built using honest materials, careful workmanship, and offered at a price that felt attainable rather than exclusive.

II
Understanding Mid-Century Design History
Time was spent studying the furniture that defined the mid century era including how it was constructed, how it aged, and why it endured.
Attention was paid to proportions, materials, and the subtle decisions that distinguished lasting design from passing trends.

III
Building our Collection
All of our pieces are cohesive with each other in their goal of merging classic designs with modern living – prioritizing authentic materials that will provide both long-term comfort and durability.

IV
First Pieces Released
Our first pieces were introduced with a clear focus on timeless style, genuine materials, and thoughtful construction. Walnut veneer shells and top-grain leather became defining elements from the beginning.
Early responses confirmed what had been hoped—that there was room for furniture that embodied mid century design, was well-made, and thoughtfully priced within the Canadian market.

V
A Continuing Standard
Today, the approach remains unchanged. Each piece is designed and built with the same principles that guided the first—careful material selection and construction producing furniture intended to impress and endure for many years.
Rather than chasing trends, the focus stays on refinement. Furniture meant to be lived in, and to age with quiet confidence over time.
